Nadia Cannataro, Principal

Principal and co-founder of large [medium] design office, Nadia Cannataro is a registered interior designer in the province of Ontario and a LEED Accredited Professional. She holds a Bachelor of Interior Design from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University), and upon graduation, Nadia worked in Europe for a boutique design practice where she focused on concept development, communication and brand development. A versatile designer with experience in the realms of corporate, institutional, residential and retail interiors, she has worked on multiple projects over the course of her career ranging from 3,000 to 300,000 square feet internationally and across Canada.
Prior to co-founding large [medium] design office, Nadia worked at several firms in Toronto, where she led the interior design work for a visitor centre, several large corporate interiors for Research In Motion, and TD Canada. Interested in creating dynamic and compelling environments within the specific context established by client requirements, brand and site specificity, Nadia is equally interested in the crafting and construction of her own ideas, a fundamental component of the practice.
Nadia has taught at the Creative School at Toronto Metropolitan University since 2018, where she has taught in design studios. She has been a guest critic at numerous reviews at the school.
